Mask Law

School Board Candidate Rich Lieberman and Erin Grampp both suggest that the solution to the mask issue is to have the state change the law per both of their facebook pages. This passes the buck instead of addressing the issue. The law as written allows wiggle room with the phrase “to the maximum extent practicable” and does not offer a consequence for non-compliance. It is possible this law conflicts with other laws. Attorney Tim Anderson has a good explanation on his Friday August 6 facebook post.

Although Lieberman’s campaign is focused on “kids not politics”, it is clear that Lieberman has a political alliance with Grampp. They both share many of the same positions on other topics.
