Explicit Books, Part 2

Here is another example of a sexually explicit book in the Spotsylvania County school division. The book is called “Like a Love Story” by Abdi Nazemian. We encourage you to read the below excerpts.

The core issues are having sexually explicit material easily accessible by children in schools, the educational value of explicit books, and bypassing parental rights. Those that reframe this issue into a broader censorship argument miss the point. Censorship is the removal of material from society so no one can access. Thats not what we are advocating. Anyone that wants to read explicit books on their own time is their business. Parents are the ultimate authority to determine their child’s access to any material.
