Here is the speech from Jennifer Petersen from the September 11 Spotsylvania County school board meeting. Ms. Petersen talks about explicit books in school libraries. Sexually explicit books do not provide students with any educational value, or the skills needed for a job. That really should be the only litmus test for books in a library. Otherwise, it is a waste of taxpayer money to store, maintain, or purchase these explicit books. Why is the Spotsylvania County School administration not doing anything about these recent challenges to explicit books in the school libraries?
