We have learned that the Spotsylvania County School Board Chair and HR Director are proposing that Juneteenth be a school holiday. The students are out for summer break so is this recommendation really about the kids?

If the proposal goes thru, the school administrators will have the day off from working for the taxpaying citizens. It does make you wonder about their motivation. It is rather convenient that Nicole Cole is holding an event on Juneteenth that happens to make her more visible for her state delegate campaign and makes it easy for school employees to attend. With the corruption in Spotsy Schools, it won’t surprise us !
