Let’s recap what has transpired for almost the last 2 years
- 19 months (Nov 2023) since citizens voted to flip the school board to a far-left super majority.
- 17 months since (Jan 2024) Lorita and Nicole took over the school board as chair/vice chair.
- 17 months since (Jan 2024) the far-left super majority voted for sexually explicit books back in school libraries after the explicit material was removed in 2023
- 13 months since (Mar 2024) school board fired Taylor.
- 10 months since hiring and renewing employee contracts.
- 9 months (Aug 2024) since the school board hired Superintendent Mitchell.
- 4 months (Jan 2025) since Jackson/Rodas became chair/vice chair.
Since the November 2023 election, here is what has happened.
- 2 teachers have physically abused kids (many more not in the news for fear of retaliation)
- Controlled 1 substance with a school employee in an elementary school class
- Bus aide 6 months in the country hired and molested elementary school SPED students
- 2 teachers abused by students
- Multiple employees fired for reporting violations to conduct policies
- Student sexually assaults another student (allegedly)
- Inappropriate staff to student relationships
- Discriminatory firing of employees.
- Record amount of money given to the schools last 2 out of 3 budget seasons.
We won’t mention the recent events off school grounds. They are all sad and we wish they never have happened. Ignorance is not an excuse for not knowing the facts. The political activists who are self-proclaimed “pro education”, withheld information about all of these events. This is what Spotsy voted for in the November 2023 elections.
