Here is the speech by Shamgar Connors at the 11/11/2024 school board meeting. Shamgar has a creative way of getting his point across and shows the hypocrisy of woke leadership of Nicole Cole, Lorita Daniels, and Superintendent Clint Mitchell.

Here is the email that we wrote to Spotsylvania County Schools Superintendent Clint Mitchell. We believe that he supports a racist agenda that is backed by the Nicole Cole and Lorita Daniels led woke school board.

At the 11/11/2024 school board meeting, former school board member Dawn Shelley said during public comment that she requested a FOIA of video taken by April Gillespie. We would like Ms. Shelley to know that we have the video. Here is a screen shot of the video that you seek Ms. Shelley. Here is the video when School Board Chair Lorita Daniels and Superintendent Clint Mitchell infringes on free speech during public comment at the 10/14 school board meeting.  When the speaker mentions the child sex assault situation with Miguel Velasquez Velasco, Daniels and Mitchell clearly did not want that being discussed. In the video, you can hear Superintendent Clint Mitchell say to cut off her microphone. The Superintendent and Chair clearly want to censor free speech.

The Spotsylvania County School Board at 8:15pm is on its 2nd recess. Here are events that transpired between the first recess and the second recess at the 10/14 school board meeting

• Daniels forced a vote for a speaker to speak an additional 30 seconds after 30 seconds were taken away from her.
• During the first recess, a citizen was escorted out of the school board meeting room at the direction of the administration instead of the board chair which is how its supposed to be.
• During the first recess, Gillespie states that the deputy slammed the door forcefully on her hand
• Prior to the second recess, Gillespie wanted to make a motion for the deputy to be removed from the meeting after slamming the door on Gillespie’s hand. You can hear Lieberman laughing in the background.

This just happened moments ago at the 10/14 school board meeting. School Board Chair Lorita Daniels denied a speaker free speech during public comment. When a speaker started to mention the Miguel Velasquez Velasco Child XXX scandal, Daniels immediately got triggered and went into recess. Video coming soon. Daniels will not allow the truth to be spoken. This is another example of the school division trying to cover up another incident.

Spotsylvania County Schools will use the Lightspeed Alert system per their email on October 4. It is a software product that monitors web traffic. Spotsy Schools has the ability to use this product to infringe on the fourth amendment rights of students and parents that log into the school network with their personal devices. As a government entity, Spotsylvania County Schools is engaging in an unreasonable search and seizure of personal devices by monitoring all traffic in and out of a personal device.

The key point is that it’s a personal device and not a school owned device. Technology can render online censorship or online seizures by the government obsolete. To avoid the 4th amendment violations by Spotsylvania County Schools, we recommend installing a VPN on your cellphone or mobile device that you use on the school network. One may argue that the schools have a right to do this to prevent problems. However, the constitution does not stop at school. The constitution was designed to constrain government and protect a citizen’s right. The constitution is not a permission slip.

We find it interesting that Spotsylvania County Schools purchases a product that can censor search terms or explicit websites while still allowing students to access books with explicit content in school libraries. The logic of the idiots such as Nicole Cole, Lorita Daniels, and others on the left somehow sees a difference between the two.

Looking at this from a lawyer’s perspective, there is a glaring hole in our laws in Virginia. Look at the screenshots of the law below. Thank you to a fellow citizen for pointing this out. The Virginia Child Abuse and Neglect Registry provides a tool for schools and government entities to conduct background checks.

However, there is a catch. It only reviews records of abuse in Virginia. Employment applicants are only required to provide 5 years of history. If an individual moved to Virginia from a state that does not share their child abuse registry with Virginia, then the school division could not obtain important information. If the employment applicant is from another country, there is zero chance to know their criminal record. Why would our schools take the risk?

Below is a screenshot of the registry application. This is just a database. What we really would like to know is if there is a background investigator whose sole responsibility is to perform in person interviews with references, associates, friends, or family members of any potential employee of Spotsylvania County Schools. This would provide insight on the character of a prospective employee. It is a process that would take months.  If the schools care about the kids, why wouldn’t they hire a background investigator for every prospective employee?

Spotsylvania County Schools does not retain teachers who report abuse as we have seen in recent cases. Yet, Spotsylvania County Schools will hire someone off the street without any idea of their criminal background or country of origin. The schools do not tap into a further reaching database from another government agency or hire private investigators to learn the background of a potential employee.

Spotsylvania County Schools Superintendent Clint Mitchell made comments at the 9/9 school board meeting that show a lack of empathy on the recent child abuse scandals. Mitchell’s remarks came after public comment and board member comments which included discussion on a 3rd party investigation on the Cedar Forest Elementary Child Abuse Scandal. The child abuse issues were the main topic of discussion up until Mitchell spoke. Below are his remarks.

“I got a chance to listen and reflect a little bit while sitting here listening to all of the comments that were made by a very small sector of our school community, and I was going to deviate from my comments that I wrote tonight, but I am not going to give them that time and that energy because they don’t deserve my time and energy because of the fact that we gotta focus about kids and we gotta focus about our staff”

The arrogance of Clint Mitchell is on full display. His remarks show he is not interested in what the public has to say on the serious issue of child abuse. His remarks show that he is ignoring the calls from the public on having a 3rd party investigation. There are an overwhelming number of comments on social media supporting a 3rd party investigation that we will show you in the below video.

We believe he holds the same insensitive dismissive position with the current Miguel Velasquez Velasco child sexual assault situation. We believe this is why the superintendent still has not put out a statement on this serious situation that unfolded on 9/27. Today is 9/30. What school bus did this occur on? How fast the administration respond? Were parents on that bus notified immediately? Is Velasquez Velasco really a legal immigrant with a work permit or is being paid under the table? At the August 27 listening session, Superintendent Clint Mitchell explained the process to resolve a complaint thru the hierarchy of the school division. At the end of the video clip below, an unnamed employee of Spotsylvania County Schools says that the process is a problem.

In light of this, we are curious if the hierarchy process as outlined by Dr Mitchell was followed in the Cedar Forest Abuse Scandal and the current Miguel Velasquez Velasco child sexual assault situation. Only an independent third-party investigation would reveal that because it takes the bias out. A third-party investigation would also be able to answer the following questions.

• How fast did the complaint work its way thru the process?
• Were there any missteps in the complaint process thru the school hierarchy?
• Who attempted to suppress information?
• Were parents informed of anything that could affect their child?

Here is what Dr Mitchell said in the video clip below – “When there are concerns at the school level, the first responsibility is the principal because that is the reason why we employ them to run the school on a day-to-day basis…..The next level of support is to make sure that if they do not address your issues at the school level, there are two executive directors whose primary responsibility is to support the 17 elementary schools, then support the 7 middle schools, and of course the 5 high schools and centers we have. If they don’t address your issue, then there is a deputy superintendent whose responsibility is to make sure that you address that issue before it comes to me. There are mechanisms for it……..If that issue does arise, they have to go to proper personal to get support they need”

Superintendent Clint Mitchell held a listening session on August 27 at Lee’s Hill Elementary. Mitchell was asked a question about the Gloria Jackson court case stemming from the Cedar Forest Elementary Child Abuse Scandal. The premise of the question provides insight into what actually occurred at Cedar Forest Elementary because it references what occurred in open court. We have that all captured in the video below.

Mitchell does not directly answer the question. That is interesting in itself. It potentially gives insight on how is handling this Miguel Velasquez Velasco abuse case. Here is the question that was asked, and Mitchell’s response all captured on video.

“There was a court proceeding not long ago at Cedar Forest. None of the top-level executives were at that court proceeding but I did find it that there were 4 educators that were testifying at that court proceeding. All 4 of them had the same thing in common. They all were (inaudible) getting assaulted, spit on, kicked on…..the classroom was a mess……..I am sure you have seen them all over online. They called for him and they got none from the administrators. Those 4 testified under oath they all radioed for help. This was at Cedar Forest Elementary. One of those principals is still there and that principal….was the one that said you have enough teachers in there you can handle it on your own. As you see that child was struck by a teacher with a shoe. That was testified. None of the top admin, none of you were at that court proceeding the other day, not one of you, to see what is really going on in your school system. Now other teachers have come forward. You may not know about it but we do. I want to know how do you plan on maybe even investigation from a private firm to investigate every single school in our district, 30 of them to be exact. There has to be more than one teacher do an assault on these children”

At the 9/9/2024 Spotsylvania County School board meeting, Lorita Daniels makes awkward statements that deflect from the child abuse situation at Cedar Forest Elementary. How Lorita Daniels says those statements is just as awkward. Listen to her speak in these video clips.

What is wrong with her? We are trying to understand why she laughs awkwardly. That seems inappropriate when addressing the serious topic of child abuse. Why doesn’t Daniels come out and say, “we are going to hold leadership accountable for missteps” or “anyone that covers up child abuse will be fired”. This is yet another piece of evidence that points to a coverup.

Here is the speech by Roy Searles at the 9/9/2024 school board meeting. He talks about safety of children and educators in Spotsylvania County Schools. He also talks about the need for thorough background checks and drug tests for educators. We see that Searles is a fan of the Spotsy Wire.

Here is the speech by Lisa Cacciatore at the 9/9/2024 school board meeting. She covers a wide array of topics specifically directed to Superintendent Mitchell. She said that she wrote an email to Mitchell. To the best of our knowledge, there has been no response to that email.

At the 9/9/2024 Spotsylvania County school board meeting, Kerri Karvelas spoke during public comment. Ms. Karvelas is a former teacher in the school division. She spoke about how she felt unsafe in the classroom during the last school year because students were assaulting her. The school division apparently did nothing other than terminate Ms. Karvelas’s employment.

We will post the video of Ms Karvelas speech shortly. Here is the email exchange between Ms. Karvelas and Superintendent Clint Mitchell. Ms. Karvelas explains the situation. Mitchell looks unempathetic and callous in his response to Ms. Karvelas.

Here is a text exchange between the teacher and Lieberman’s facebook page that reports on school events. Notice the date of the exchange is May 18. Lieberman knew of the abuse that was going on at Cedar Forest Elementary. He had the video in May. Yet, he decided not to ever report on the story until other media outlets such as the Spotsy Wire reported it in August.

It seems like Lieberman was part of the cover up since he has very close ties to the administration and most school board members. Lieberman provided a lame excuse of not being able to blur the child’s faces as a reason to not post anything in May. He posted in the comments section of another article recently that he had a problem with the video being given to Roy Searles (Lieberman thinks Searles has anything to do with the Spotsy Wire). Yet he had the video in May !
